The different helmet markings of the regiment

The 508 PIR had various helmet markings. Unlike the 101st Airborne, these markings weren't official, but still some troopers decided to put them on their helmet. In this table I will point out the different markings of the 508th. Click on an example to see an image of the specific helmet marking.

 Red fireball

 Double fire bolt on the side of  the helmet.

 Blue or black winged foot with  white  border or a completely  white  winged foot.

HQ (Headquarters)

 HQ has 2 variants: 

 Red HH on the side of the  helmet.  

 Single fire bolt on the side of  the helmet.
